IVP-3000 is a compact 1RU broadcast transmission platform designed by Caton Technology.  Equipped with 6 modular slots, the IVP-3000 is fully customizable with different module to meet your existing workflow needs.  Take advantage of the built-in Caton Engine for industry leading reliable video transmission over the open internet. 

 

IVP-3000 is a CPCI standard deisgn platform, and it supports H.264/MPEG-2 standard and high definition encoding and decoding, ASI I/O, AVS+ or a mixture of them. A reliable, flexible and affordable solution for all of today's transmission needs.

Powerful Modular Platform
 

Fully configurable to meet a wide variety of workflows, the IVP-3000 offers a family of purpose-built modules that support multiple resolutions, formats and functions. Configure input, output, resolution, encode and decode format, as well as full multiplexing, scrambling and descrambling easily with the IVP-3000.

The Caton Engine

 

The IVP-3000 utilizes the Caton Engine, an industry leading set of adaptive protocols designed for real-time and file-based workflows over the Open Internet, for highly reliable real-time transmission of professional, broadcast quality video.

SD / HD / 4K


With different selections of modules, the IVP-3000 supports SD, HD, and up to 4K within a compact 1RU chassis.  Mix and match different formats in one box with SD and HD, NTSC and PAL, SDI and HDMI, input and output.  All modules function independently but can also work in concert across multiple cards. 

Superior Encode and Decode

 

To meet the demands of broadcasting professionals, the IVP-3000 uses the broadcast quality NTT encoders and decoders. This allows IVP to provide super low latency as low as 40ms.  For the best configuration, IVP can achieve below 2 seconds latency from end to end.

24/7 Enterprise Operation Ready

 

The IVP-3000 is an enterprise-grade 1RU modular appliance with dual power supplies and hot swap modules.  Designed to the highest standards for mission critical 24/7 operation, the IVP-3000 is ready for the most demanding professional environments.  

Web-Based Configuration and Control

 

With a built-in web configuration interface, the IVP-3000 can be easily setup and monitored. Dedicated control ports on board, as well as full remote network connectivity, provide a flexible environment for configuring, monitoring, and managing one or a dozen IVP-3000s.
